Starting from the center of San Salvatore Abbey along Via Roma, Via Cavour, until you reach a fork where the road goes straight on towards Siena. After 4 km climb, descend to a junction where you turn left onto the SP18 towards Campiglia d'Orcia. After the slight slope, we reach the small village of Montieri where the descent begins which brings us up to Campiglia d'Orcia. From here you have the opportunity to enjoy the panoramic view of the entire Val d'Orcia. Cross the town following the signs to the cave and Bagni di San Filippo, take a small road that runs along the bush and bearing near the Grotto of St. Philip. Continuing, we reach the village and spa of Bagni San Filippo. From there you continue through the whole village down, up to an intersection where you turn left, you start to climb towards the starting point for Abbey.
